Standing Tall
Professional Pride and confidence for dispatchers
Behind every calm radio transmission and every coordinated emergency response is a dispatcher who leads with quiet strength and composure. Be the Peacock: Bold Confidence for Dispatchers is an empowering session designed to help telecommunicators embrace their confidence, recognize their professional pride, and stand tall in the unseen leadership they bring to every shift.
Using the symbolism of a peacock—bold, resilient, and unapologetically visible—participants will explore how confidence enhances performance, teamwork, and resilience in high-pressure situations. Through engaging discussion and self-reflection activities, dispatchers will identify their strengths, discover opportunities to be bolder in their roles, and leave with practical strategies for maintaining confidence even under stress.
This uplifting and interactive session reminds dispatchers that confidence isn’t about being loud—it’s about standing tall, knowing your worth, and letting your professional feathers show.
