Tammy brings over 29 year’s dispatch of experience . Tammy had served as the 911 Director at Moore Police Department, where she oversaw the department’s emergency communications operations, including when the devastating EF-5 Tornado struck there in 2013. Tammy holds certifications in Emergency Medical Dispatch, Emergency Fire Dispatch, and Quality Assurance. Tammy is a graduate of the FBI -LEEDA Institute and recipient of the Trilogy Award, as well as a graduate of the Federal Emergency Management Institute in Emmitsburg Maryland.
Prior to coming to Oklahoma, Tammy spent 17 years in Utah as both a 911 dispatcher and a dispatch supervisor for a consolidated dispatch center, where she led and mentored a team of emergency responders and was the recipient of the Chief’s Star Award.
Tammy is also a skilled tactical dispatcher, having completed advanced training with the Norther California Tactical Dispatchers Association. Recognizing the need for specialized skills in high-stakes situations, Tammy helped introduce Utah’s first Tactical Dispatch program, helping to enhance the state’s preparedness for critical operations.
Through her extensive experience and commitment to public safety, Tammy has become a respected leader in the field of emergency communications, always striving to improve response capabilities and support first responders. Tammy is a champion of efficiency and excellence and is dedicated to elevating industry standards for Telecommunicators.
